How does it work?

This tool uses html2pdf.js, a client-side library that renders your HTML into a canvas (via html2canvas) and then exports it as a PDF (via jsPDF). Because the conversion happens entirely in your browser, your HTML code is never transmitted to any server. The PDF is generated locally and downloaded directly to your device.
