FFmpeg.wasm is a WebAssembly port of the industry-standard FFmpeg video processing tool. It runs entirely inside your browser's sandbox — no server, no cloud, no upload. Your video file is loaded into browser memory, processed by the WASM engine, and the result is offered as a download. The only data that leaves your device is the ~25MB FFmpeg.wasm binary fetched from the CDN on first load (cached afterward). This makes it ideal for compressing sensitive videos, proprietary footage, or any content you don't want to trust to an online service.
