How does it work?
This tool uses your browser's connection to our server, which detects your public IP address via standard HTTP headers (CF-Connecting-IP). The location, timezone and network operator come from the data Cloudflare attaches to every request (request.cf): no third-party geolocation service is called. The IP is also checked against the public list of Tor exit nodes. Your IP may be kept for up to 2 minutes as a rate-limiting key, and Presend does not store it otherwise. The map is drawn with OpenStreetMap tiles, which your browser downloads directly from OpenStreetMap's servers: they see your IP and the area shown.
