Clean URLs Before Sharing
Links copied from social media or newsletters are often full of tracking parameters. This tool strips them so you share clean, private links.
Why use this?
- Remove 60+ tracking parameters
- Copy clean links instantly
- No data sent to any server
- Batch-clean up to 100 URLs via the API
What gets removed
Common tracking parameters like utm_source, utm_campaign, fbclid (Facebook), gclid (Google Ads), and dozens of platform-specific affiliate and analytics tags are stripped. The destination itself is never changed — only the tracking data attached to the link.
Why this matters for privacy
Tracking parameters let the sender identify exactly who clicked, when, and often link that click back to your email address or social profile. Removing them before sharing a link — especially in a group chat, forum, or newsletter — prevents that link from silently reporting back who engaged with it.
FAQ
Will the cleaned link still work the same way?
Yes. Removing tracking parameters doesn't affect the destination page — only the tracking data attached to the URL is removed.
Can I clean multiple links at once?
Yes, paste one URL per line to clean several at once, or use the batch API endpoint for up to 100 URLs per request.
Does this protect me from all tracking?
It removes URL-based tracking parameters specifically. It doesn't affect cookies, browser fingerprinting, or tracking that happens after you click the link.
